Ear to ear. Hear me out hear (pun intended)...
A weird but useful way to have a hard conversation.
A typical conflict feels like YOU vs. ME.
Which is tense and welcomes ego into the chat.
Healthy conflict means that WE take on the problem together.
But that’s often much easier said than done.
Instead of having a really tough convo “face to face” sitting across a conference room table, try having it “ear to ear”. That might look like walking next to each other or sitting next to each other on a couch. A little weird? Yes. But does it help? Yes!
Wondering how remote might factor into this?
